Solar can help homeowners reduce their energy costs. According to a study by Lawrence Berkeley Labs, a solar system can add approximately $12,000 to the value of a newly built home.

Solar ready construction is becoming more popular among builders in Oregon as more buyers are interested in generating their own clean energy.
