Per updated New Homes Trade Ally Network participation terms and conditions for 2016, all current New Homes trade allies must re-enroll to continue as a trade ally in the New Homes program. This change only affects the company’s status as an Energy Trust New Homes trade ally and does not impact other Energy Trust programs.
To re-enroll as a New Homes trade ally, complete and submit Form 671A New Homes Trade Ally Addendum and Form 1171A Trade Ally Enrollment Application by March 31, 2016. Some trade allies may also be required to provide their company’s Certificate of Insurance or a completed Request for Insurance form with their completed Form 671A New Homes Trade Ally Addendum.
Failure to renew your company’s trade ally status by March 31, 2016 will result in suspension from the New Homes Trade Ally Network, meaning your company will not be able to receive incentives or services from the New Homes program. After the deadline, the company listing will no longer appear when customers search for a New Homes trade ally on Energy Trust’s Find a Contractor page.
The New Homes program will send email notifications to current trade allies in early January as a reminder to re-enroll. New Homes verifiers will also support re-enrollment efforts by working with builders to complete and submit proper documentation.
Suspended trade allies can re-apply to the New Homes Trade Ally Network, but will be required to submit all new application forms and a new Certificate of Insurance.
New Homes trade allies wishing to re-enroll may send completed documents by email or mail to the following address:
Energy Trust of Oregon—New Homes
100 SW Main Street, Suite 1500
Portland, OR 97204
