Trade ally spotlight: Wenaha Group

Wenaha Group, based in Pendleton, offers construction management, general contracting, procurement and contracting services across much of Oregon. As an Energy Trust trade ally, Wenaha Group takes the time to listen to and incorporate their customers’ goals and needs into the construction management process.

“The outstanding service Wenaha Group provides, coupled with senior project managers of unequaled experience, are giving the company a competitive edge in construction management in the Pacific Northwest,” said Tom Hogstad, outreach manager, Existing Buildings.

With a strong focus on project management for K-12 schools, Scott Rogers, senior project manager at Wenaha Group, has been leading a team effort to integrate sustainability and energy efficiency into the project planning process. Scott has brought this pragmatic perspective and cost-effective approach to Energy Trust’s new Small District Outreach pilot to help eligible school districts receive energy-efficiency incentives available to K-12 schools.

Wenaha Group and Energy Trust assisted five school districts in the past 18 months through the Small District Outreach pilot, enabling these districts to receive Energy Trust technical assistance and incentives, reduce utility costs, improve equipment efficiency and put more money back into the classroom.
