March 24 #MarketingSolar webinar: Marketing campaign development

Solar_insider_webinarThe #MarketingSolar training series tackles campaign development with the “Presenting Your Best: Marketing Campaigns and Creative Content” webinar on Thursday, March 24 at 11 a.m.

A successful marketing campaign begins with a clear understanding of what your company has to offer and then targets a particular customer segment using the most effective methods of communicating with that specific audience. The webinar is focused on identifying campaign priorities and developing the creative content to meet them. Goals are to help you identify and communicate key benefits to the customer through your marketing. The webinar will address content marketing, public relations, social media, online digital ads, referral programs, and the use of tools like Faraday to identify prospective customers.

A thorough understanding of your customers is critical to a successful campaign. This month’s webinar will help you build customer personas, or profiles, so that you can shape effective campaigns that eventually result in increased sales.

One example of customer persona development would be focusing on the role women play in a solar purchase and understanding What Women Really Want from a Solar Sale so that you can market effectively to the household’s “chief purchasing officer.” During a GRID Alternatives webinar last month, professionals from Enphase, Sunrun, Solar Sister, Clarus Power and Glenna Wiseman of Identity3 looked at research and perspectives related to marketing solar to women. Check out the GRID Alternatives webinar recording here to learn about the methods to help solar marketers reach women and the role women play in the solar transaction.
