Trade Ally Portal discontinuation


Energy Trust of Oregon discontinued the Trade Ally Portal in February, due to high maintenance needs and low usage among trade allies. Trade allies can still receive the same status updates previously obtained through the portal by requesting project and payment status reports on completed and paid projects.

To request the current quarter’s Energy Trust project and payment status report, email the Residential trade ally team or your account manager. If you require information on past projects or on specific checks, please include that date range or check information in your request.

For quicker payments, Energy Trust now offers our trade allies direct deposit by ACH. Receive payments 2-3 days sooner, without the administrative hassle of depositing the check yourself. The enrollment process is simple and secure.

  1. Fill out and electronically sign Energy Trust’s direct deposit by ACH agreement.
  2. Provide an image of a blank check, as instructed on the form. If you do not have a check, submit a document from your bank that includes both your financial institution’s routing number and your bank account number.
  3. Upon completion, you will receive a copy of the form. A copy will also be sent to Energy Trust’s accounts payable team, which will perform a standard verification process with our bank to ensure the account is active and valid. This process takes about five business days.
  4. Once your account has been verified, you will be enrolled in electronic payment. You may receive 1–2 check payments after enrollment due to our incentive-processing cycle.
