Existing Multifamily incentive changes effective January 1, 2021

Energy Trust updates incentives on January 1 of each year to ensure we offer cost-effective savings. The following changes will be effective January 1, 2021, and only apply to qualifying multifamily properties. Any incentives not listed below will remain at the current 2020 levels.

Ducted heat pumps and advanced controlsElectricCan no longer be combined with other heat pump incentives such as ducted heat pumps, heat pump controls or smart thermostats. This incentive is now only available as an addition to a new or existing heat pump where the thermostat is added to control the auxiliary or back-up electric furnace. The heat pump must be the home’s primary heat source and the thermostat must be set to 35°F lockout. Visit www.energytrust.org/heatpumpcontrols for eligible models and more information.
