EPS homes win High-Performance Building Awards at COBA’s Tour of Homes


Energy Trust was a supporting sponsor of Central Oregon Builders Association’s (COBA’s) 37th annual Tour of Homes in July 2024. During the event, community judges looked for the best in performance, architectural design, landscaping, interior features and value. Competing homes were categorized by price range. Three EPS homes, detailed below, received High Performance Building awards.

Woodhill Homes

A timeless single-story home in Countryside, Bend, OR, won in the $699,999 and under category. The home is ENERGY STAR® certified and features a ductless HVAC system for heating and cooling.

Stone Bridge Homes NW

A modern farmhouse-style two-story home in northeast Bend was chosen as best high performance home in the $700,000 –  $1,499,000 category.

JD Neel Construction

This home in Discovery West, Bend, OR, won the $1,500,000 and up category. It includes a high efficiency hyper heat mini-split system.
