Energy management system informational workshop

The International Organization for Standardization, ISO, has developed an International Standard, ISO 50001, that specifies the requirements for an energy management system that allows a facility operator to develop and implement a comprehensive energy policy. Facility operators establish energy savings objectives, set energy savings targets and develop action plans to achieve them. The development of an ISO 50001-compliant energy management system enables facility operators to improve their energy performance while assuring compliance with demonstrable reductions.

Trade allies interested in learning more can participate via webcast in an informational workshop on Tuesday, November 10, conducted by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory about the purpose, structure and benefits of the ISO 50001-Energy Management System, EnMs, Standard.  More details and registration information here.
