The Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association announced that it will expand on its statewide National Electrical Code, NEC, 2014 Code Change course and offer two additional courses this year: Solar Installation best practices and photovoltaic, PV, 101 for electricians.
“OSEIA recognizes that with the consistent increase in the volume of solar installations, our members will need support in training employees and electrical subcontractors in order to meet the demand,” said Craig Ernst, development director, OSEIA.
The courses will be offered at locations across the state over the next year. Attendees will receive continuing education units for the Construction Contractors Board, Oregon Building Codes Division and North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners. See the course descriptions below and watch the OSEIA training and event calendar to register for a class near you.
