Energy Trust’s Solar team has been busy integrating the Solar Development Assistance (SDA) application process into PowerClerk!
The Solar Development Assistance incentive is designed to support customers – like non-profits & public agencies – with projects that require more detailed design work upfront and have longer than average timelines. Solar Trade Ally Contractors working with customers interested in the SDA Incentive offering will soon be able to conveniently submit all necessary SDA documentation in PowerClerk, just like the standard incentive application process. PowerClerk will automatically generate the correct forms and send them to the customer for electronic signature.
As a reminder, the Solar Development Assistance incentive application must be submitted before design work can begin and is a requirement in order to combine utility grant funds and Energy Trust solar incentives. Once the Solar Feasibility Report is complete and has passed technical design review, the project will be eligible for a solar installation incentive with an extended 2-year reservation period.
Eligible customers include public and nonprofit entities, New Buildings participants, utility grant applicants, and customers interested in solar plus advanced storage systems.
For more information on the SDA incentive offering, or if you have any questions, feel free to contact Robert Wyllie.
