Mission + Vision + Values
Clean, Affordable Energy for Everyone
We help customers and communities reduce costs and achieve additional benefits by saving energy and benefiting from renewable resources.
It’s our responsibility to ensure that communities have access to clean energy solutions and are safer and better prepared for whatever tomorrow holds. Though we have achieved a lot over the last 20+ years, we recognize there is more to do. To expand our reach, we created a comprehensive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Plan focused on engaging communities we’ve historically underserved and guided by community feedback.
Our Values
Our values come to life in everything we do at Energy Trust, from community outreach to planning and program delivery. By grounding ourselves in a shared value system, we ensure that every action we take is a step toward achieving our purpose.
Trade Ally Network
Connecting Customers and Contractors on the Path to Clean Energy
Energy Trust connects customers interested in clean energy projects to qualified contractors in their community through our Trade Ally Network. Made up of independent contractors and allied professionals, the Trade Ally Network has helped thousands of Oregon families and businesses achieve their financial and environmental goals.
In addition to receiving ongoing training and support, trade allies can help turn leads into sales by using our cash incentives to reduce the installation cost of clean energy equipment. And people and businesses gain peace of mind from working with licensed and insured contractors well-versed in Energy Trust’s programs and standards. In short, the Trade Ally Network is a win for customers and contractors alike.
1,800+ Strong—and Growing
Trade allies play an important role in helping Energy Trust achieve our goal of bringing affordable clean energy to all. As a result, we are working on expanding our network and actively seeking to diversify by enrolling more businesses owned by people of color, women, veterans and those certified by Oregon’s Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity (COBID).
The Power of Partnership
From small home improvement projects to large-scale agricultural investments, customers have invested in energy efficiency and renewable energy to help achieve their goals.
These stories represent just some of the many ways our communities are enriched when we all work together toward a clean energy future.
