Energy Trust requests updates to estimated completion dates


Energy Trust’s Solar team relies on accurate estimated completion dates for incentive forecasting. We are asking trade allies to review projects that are past their estimated completion dates or need to be cancelled in PowerClerk.

Please review projects that have any of the following statuses in PowerClerk and update their future estimated completion dates or identify any that should be cancelled.

  • Application Revisions Rejected
  • Corrections Required
  • Design Rejected
  • Funds Reserved
  • Pending Paperwork
  • Remote Corrections Required

Trade allies can export their project list to a CSV file for both residential and business projects. Estimated completion dates are included in their own column and can be sorted by date to determine which dates have passed or are coming up. To make corrections:

  • For residential projects, complete the Update Estimated Completion Date form in PowerClerk under “forms”.
  • For commercial projects, email the project number and revised estimated completion date to us, and we can apply an update for you.

Energy Trust will routinely check projects with outdated estimated completion dates which are at risk of funding expiration. As a reminder, the incentive reservation period is one year for residential projects and two years for Solar+Storage Development Assistance (SDA/BSDA) and commercial projects. Projects with expired funding reservations require exception requests to be extended. Projects requiring corrections may not be cancelled.

We appreciate your efforts to ensure estimated completion dates are current. Having correct dates in PowerClerk greatly assists our incentive forecasting efforts and can help avoid unnecessary incentive rate adjustments. Please check your projects in PowerClerk and make the necessary updates regularly!
