Incentives increased for Existing Buildings customers in Washington

In January 2016, Energy Trust cash incentives for gas projects in Washington increased for custom and standard measures. At the Trade Ally Winter Session, many trade allies asked about the rationale behind the increase. With historically low natural gas prices, it takes longer for customers to earn back the money invested in energy-efficiency upgrades. Energy Trust increased incentives in 2016 to make upgrades more appealing for Washington business customers and spur customer participation. Energy-efficiency upgrades help businesses save energy and money on a long-term basis. Learn more about increased gas incentives for Washington.
