Energy Trust of Oregon works with trusted community-based organizations to connect underserved households with energy efficiency and renewable energy incentives. Over the past several years, Energy Trust has expanded its community partnerships to bring energy-saving solutions to more communities that need them. The impact of these partnerships is already apparent in 2026.
From January to July of this year, Energy Trust invested $7.4 million in contracts with 25 community partners, which includes $6.5 million in incentives. Through July 31st, 25 of these partners have delivered incentives for 1,150 projects across 1,664 customer households and 1,276 Home Energy Assessments. The number of households served so far this year is up 26% compared to 2025, and the number of home energy assessments completed is up 22%.
As a result of these community partnerships, customers have saved an estimated 1,988,152 kWh and 30,151 therms, resulting in an estimated $332,000 in electric bill savings and $41,000 in gas bill savings. Thank you to all the organizations helping to deliver these benefits to local communities.
