Business Development Fund to be replenished effective January 1, 2025

Energy Trust will replenish the Home Retrofit, EPS™ New Construction, Commercial and Solar Business Development Funds (BDF) on January 1, 2025, as part of its annual processes. All trade ally balances will be reset to zero as part of the annual refresh, opening up new opportunities for Residential, Existing Buildings, New Buildings, Business Lighting, Production Efficiency, multifamily and Solar trade allies.

Trade allies can tap into Business Development Funds for approved projects including.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) will no longer be reimbursable starting January 1, 2025. All other fund amounts and requirements will remain the same in 2025 as they were in 2024. Also note that event attendance has been added as an eligible reimbursement. Please see the application forms below for more information.

All BDF projects or training reimbursements require pre-approval. Pre-approval confirms project and training eligibility but does not reserve funds. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that final invoices must be submitted within 60 days of pre-approval and within 15 days of release of your project or training/event date.
