Solar Power World is accepting applications for its 2020 Top Solar Contractors, which will be published in the July edition of Solar Power World. Companies will be selected based on capacity of projects they installed, developed or helped construct in 2019. A new Solar + Storage list has also been created. Energy Trust Solar trade allies may submit an application using Solar Power World’s online portal. All applications are due by Friday, May 22, 2020.

Applicants must submit basic company information and proof of installations in 2019. Supporting documents must substantiate total installed kilowatt claims and for each project must indicate: project size (DC kilowatts), project location (city, state), energy storage capacity in kWh (where applicable), date of project completion or utility approval (must be between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019), and company role on the project.

Please review your application, supporting documentation and data carefully, as Solar Power World has updated the service definitions. A list of frequently asked questions and answers is available online, along with a PDF of the full application for review.

Questions or comments can be directed to the editors of Solar Power World.

We are happy to assist Solar trade allies with gathering 2019 supporting documentation. Contact Robert Wyllie, Solar project manager, for help.
