Interesting facts about the 2017 Top 500 Solar Contractors list:

• 451 of the 500 contractors stated they were involved in the commercial market, 387 worked in residential and 186 participated in the utility market.
• 55 percent of the companies work only in one state.
• 59 percent of Top 500 Solar Contractors added energy storage technology to solar projects in 2016.
