New central air conditioner incentive

Starting on July 8, 2019, Energy Trust of Oregon will offer a $250 incentive for energy-efficient central air conditioners installed in qualifying residences. This incentive will be available to Portland General Electric and Pacific Power customers adding a new system or replacing an existing air conditioner in their home. To qualify, incentive applications must include an AHRI certificate or certification number which verifies that the system has:

  • SEER of 15 or greater; and
  • EER of 12 or higher; and
  • All necessary components to achieve certified efficiency rating

To receive the incentive, qualifying central air conditioners must serve most or all of the home. Homeowners that meet Energy Trust’s income qualifications may be eligible to finance their central air conditioner project through Savings Within Reach On-Bill Repayment.
