Mark your calendar: seeking trade and program ally comments on draft 2020 budget next month

This October, we invite your feedback on our draft 2020 budget and 2020-2021 action plan. The materials will be available on our website starting Wednesday, October 9 and any feedback is requested by Wednesday, October 30, 2019.

The budget will guide program and outreach strategies that can help you and your customers complete energy-saving projects or install solar systems.

Here are 3 ways to learn about our budget:

  1. View the PDF of the budget and action plans, available online starting October 9
  2. Watch a recorded presentation describing the key takeaways of the draft budget, available online October 16
  3. Attend our public budget workshop on October 16. At the workshop, Executive Director Michael Colgrove will deliver an executive summary of the budget, followed by a participatory component with staff, the board of directors, our advisory councils and others to discuss program activities in greater detail.

All materials, including the recorded presentation, will posted online at www.energytrust.org/budget.

The budget and action plan are developed collaboratively with Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas and Avista to deliver least-cost energy efficiency as part of their long-term resource plans. The budget also supports development of small-scale generation from a variety of renewable energy resources in PGE and Pacific Power territories.

Comments on the draft budget and action plan will be accepted from October 9-30 by emailing info@energytrust.org, or mailing or submitting them in person to Energy Trust, 421 SW Oak St., Suite 300, Portland, OR 97204.
