Based on his impactful new report, “Seeing the Forest Through the Trees—A Guide to Low Carbon Buildings,” Jeff will discuss:
- Optimal approaches for different building types to reduce whole building carbon
- Feasibility of Zero Carbon buildings in the current building climate
- Comparisons of exterior building assemblies designed to meet Passive House standards for wood stick framed and mass timber
- Three case studies that address various building types, including affordable townhomes, rental apartments and a Black Business Hub with retail and office space
