Please join us in congratulating Mark McKechnie of Oregon Architecture, Inc., the recipient of our 2020 Net Zero Fellowship grant. Energy Trust of Oregon is proud to support Mark’s research on cost drivers associated with net-zero affordable housing.

An architect and principal at Oregon Architecture, Inc., Mark will create resources that developers, designers and construction teams can use to estimate costs early in design, making it easier to pursue net zero and optimize energy savings per dollar invested.

Mark also plans to partner with Klamath Housing Authority—which provides housing to families and individuals in need—to explore energy-efficient construction strategies for those who may benefit the most.
