Get facility operators on board with energy efficiency through Building Operator Certification

EB_BOC

Make sure your customers are aware of Energy Trust’s support for Building Operator Certification, a professional development program that trains facility operators on the best practices for reducing energy costs, improving energy efficiency and maintaining equipment. The certification is nationally recognized and trains operators to reduce energy operating costs by an average of 5 percent or more.

Energy Trust provides incentives of up to $600 per building operator who completes Level I or Level II Building Operator Certification. Certification is offered through the Northwest Water & Energy Education Institute at various locations throughout Oregon. The incentive is available for facility operators, including engineers, technicians, architects, facility managers, maintenance personnel and energy managers who work in public or private buildings served by Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural or Cascade Natural Gas. Operators who work in buildings served by NW Natural in Southwest Washington are also eligible.
