If you’d like to help your architecture or engineering firm meet its carbon commitments while providing meaningful mentorship to young professionals, apply for Energy Trust of Oregon’s Net Zero Emerging Leaders Internship grant!

We’re awarding grants (each up to $8,000) to architecture and engineering firms working on Oregon projects to offer a 12-week paid internship to students or recent-graduate interns.

What you should know:

• Qualifying applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with prioritization given to first-time applicants, new commitment signatories and firms that have not yet reported commitment projects.
• Firms must be signatories of the AIA 2030 Commitment, MEP 2040 Commitment or SE 2050 Commitment by the application deadline.
• Firms must have Oregon projects in design that are eligible for commitment reporting.
• The internship runs January through March 2027 to align with the AIA 2030 Commitment reporting schedule. Participation requires the ability to hire an intern who will support commitment reporting during this period.
