Side-by-side multifamily properties, including townhomes and plex properties, are now eligible to receive a $250 cash incentive for qualifying outdoor central AC units.

Central AC systems must feature an outdoor unit with a minimum Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) of 15 and a minimum outdoor unit/indoor coil Energy Efficiency Rating (EER) of 12 that serves the majority of the residence, as stated in the AHRI directory. This rating can be achieved with or without a specified furnace/blower.
