Energy Trust Solar trade allies were included in the list of North America’s top solar contractors released by Solar Power World, again this year.

Congratulations to the Energy Trust Solar trade allies that ranked in the top 500 Solar Installers List: A&R Solar, Advanced Energy Systems, Auric Solar, E2 Solar, Elemental Energy, Enterprise Electric, Imagine Energy, NW Photon Energy, Smart Energy Today, Sunbridge Solar, Sunlight Solar Energy, and True South Solar.

For the first time, this year Solar Power World created a Top Solar+Storage Installer List based on the total kilowatt-hour (kWh) capacity installed in the previous year. Congratulations to the Energy Trust solar trade allies that were included in this inaugural list: A&R Solar, Elemental Energy, Enterprise Electric and Rental, Sunlight Solar Energy, and True South Solar.

Interesting Facts about the 2019 Top 500 Solar Contractors List:

• The 2019 Top Solar Contractors class installed solar in all 50 states—plus Washington, D.C., and three U.S. territories: Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• 89 percent of the 2019 Top Solar Contractors work in the commercial market; 77 percent completed residential work last year; and 36 percent worked on at least one utility-scale project.
• 52 percent of 2019-listed contractors installed 100 percent of their 2018 solar projects in the state where they’re headquartered.
• 75 percent of installers surveyed before May 31, 2019 said they’re primarily installing energy storage with brand new solar projects, while 14 percent said they’re primarily installing energy storage with existing solar arrays in retrofit situations.
