Residential Business Development Funds

A two-story house with gray siding and white trim features rooftop solar panels and a white brick chimney. It's nestled among vibrant greenery, including mature trees and manicured bushes. The garden in front is well-kept, and the sky above is partly cloudy with soft hints of sunset hues.

All available 2025 Residential Business Development Funds (BDF) have been fully allocated, and new applications will no longer been accepted and approved.

We urge trade allies who have approved projects that are still within the 60-day window from the date of approval to submit all required accompanying documentation for reimbursement. As a reminder, all BDF reimbursements require pre-approval, which confirms eligibility but does not reserve funds. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Business Development Funds are refreshed annually as part of our budget cycle. We encourage you to check back with us starting January 1, 2026, to learn about any changes in eligible BDF expenses and application procedures.

Important note regarding expense timing: We will be unable to offer reimbursement in 2026 for any expenses incurred during 2025.

We appreciate your continued participation in Energy Trust programs and your commitment to advancing energy efficiency in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
