Energy Trust of Oregon is seeking proposals from qualified individuals with excellent research capabilities and an interest in advancing the design and construction of net-zero-energy commercial buildings in Oregon. The Net Zero Fellowship aims to address potential barriers to the widespread adoption of net-zero design and to grow the community constructing these remarkable buildings. We will award a fellowship grant of up to $50,000 to support research over 12 to 18 months.
The Fellowship is open to individuals and companies with a well-defined proposal and a demonstrated ability to deliver. Possible topics may include technical research, economic benefits, market barriers and community-based net-zero projects. Applicants must demonstrate why their research is important and clearly explain the value their project will bring to Energy Trust customers. Energy Trust will select a fellow with input from a committee of advisors experienced in sustainable, high-performance and net-zero-energy buildings.
