Earn up to $7,000 with EPS™ incentives for Solar + Storage model homes

Energy Trust of Oregon’s EPS New Homes program offers incentives for the installation of solar + storage in model homes to help builders demonstrate the advantages of solar + storage for home buyers.

Builders can receive an extra $2,000 model home bonus on top of standard EPS incentives, bringing total incentives for model homes with solar + storage up to $7,000.

Venue for buyers to see and touch
As environmentally conscious Oregon homebuyers look for cleaner energy sources, greater home resiliency, and reduced energy costs, solar is increasingly attractive. Solar + storage offers homebuyers peace of mind during outages and helps them manage their energy costs.

EPS model home incentives help builders create a venue for potential buyers to see the technology of a solar + storage system in person, where they can engage with the equipment and even rehearse how they would control the system during an outage.

Participation guidelines
Builders must make the home available for walkthroughs for at least four months and provide Energy Trust with proof of collateral that shows solar + storage as an upgrade option for their homes. A traditional, fully staged model home isn’t required, and smaller builders can designate a single home per development and sell it after the walkthrough period ends.
