Energy Trust’s Contractor Development Pathway was created to give trade allies from focus communities opportunities to have more impact on the Trade Ally Network and their communities. As part of the development pathway, experienced trade allies are paired with newer trade allies to provide one-on-one mentoring.
Kwasi Boateng from Burch Energy Services in Portland, Oregon has served as a mentor over the past two years. After completing his Contractor Development Pathway commitments in the pathway’s first cohort, Boateng applied to become a mentor the following year. “I wanted to help other business owners navigate growth challenges,” says Boateng. “This was a way to give back to the communities Burch Energy serves.”
