Energy Trust of Oregon has made it convenient for customers to purchase qualified energy-efficient equipment through buy-down promotions. Effective January 1, 2016, participating distributors can offer point-of-purchase incentive discounts for the following new and updated promotions:

• $150 for Tier 1 electric heat pump water heaters
• $500 for Tier 2 or 3 electric heat pump water heaters
• $2.75 per kBtuh for commercial gas tankless water heaters
• $300 for gas furnaces
• $35 for residential refrigerators
• $120 for residential electric or gas clothes washers
• $300 for commercial electric or gas clothes washers

The following buy-down promotions continue to be available to distributors:

• $35 for residential refrigerators
• $120 for residential electric or gas clothes washers
• $300 for commercial electric or gas clothes washers
• $200 for package terminal heat pumps (PTHP)
• $35 for residential electric water heaters
• $75 for residential electric high-efficiency water heaters
• $100 for residential gas water heaters for duplexes, triplexes and four-plexes
• $4.00 per kBtuh for commercial gas water heaters
