2026 Commercial Business Development Funds are still available

Energy Trust of Oregon wants to update active Existing Buildings, New Buildings, business lighting, and multifamily trade allies on the status of the commercial Business Development Fund budget.

The commercial BDF has currently reimbursed $68,759.35 out of the $150,000 total 2026 budget, leaving $81,240.65 for the remainder of the year.

Active commercial trade allies are eligible to receive up to $3,000 in reimbursement through the commercial BDF offer. Trade ally firms that are COBID certified, are located in rural areas, or are minority, veteran or women-owned businesses, are eligible for up to $4,000 in reimbursement for qualifying marketing and other business development expenses.

All BDF projects and training reimbursements require pre-approval. Pre-approval confirms project and training eligibility but does not reserve funds. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that final invoices must be submitted within 60 days of pre-approval and within 15 days of release of marketing projects or training/event dates.

To apply, please fill out this commercial BDF application. For detailed commercial BDF guidelines, review the commercial BDF page.
