2020 Existing Multifamily incentive update


Energy Trust of Oregon adds and updates incentive offerings each year. Incentive changes go into effect on January 1, 2020. Staying up-to-date on current incentives will help you better serve your multifamily customers. Any incentives not listed below will remain unchanged. These changes only apply to the Multifamily program. New and updated incentives include:

New Incentives

Hydronic Heating Circulator—$150-$750 for hydronic heating circulator pumps installed on central hydronic heating systems. Incentive amount dependent on pump HP. Aligns with Existing Buildings.

Commercial Pool Pump—$230 for variable speed self-priming pool pump in commercial settings. Must meet specific Weighted Energy Factor (WEF) requirements depending on pump HP. See program representative for details.

Condensing Pool Heating—Incentive for condensing gas pool heaters. Both outdoor and indoor pools qualify. Incentive amount dependent on pool area. Outdoor pool incentive $3.50 per sq ft and indoor pool incentive $2.35 per sq ft.

Outdoor Spa Cover—$100 per spa. Incentive requirements. Aligns with Residential.

Updated Incentives

Condensing gas boilers—Shifting to flat rate incentive of $8.50 per kBtu/h for all commercial sizes. Minimum efficiency of 94% AFUE or Thermal Efficiency.

Heat pump water heater—Savings Within Reach additional incentive changing to $270 from $375. Incentive available through distributors and retailers will be unchanged.

Smart thermostat— Increased incentive to $100 from $50 for qualifying smart thermostats. Aligns with Residential.
