Energy Trust evaluates incentives on a continuous basis and adjusts incentive types and amounts throughout the year in response to changing market needs and cost-effectiveness requirements. The majority of changes go into effect at the beginning of each calendar year.
Energy Trust also reduces or discontinues incentives that are no longer cost effective, are impacted by code changes or are seldom used. This allows Energy Trust to invest the funds in other ways to meet market needs.
The following Existing Buildings and multifamily incentives will be discontinued effective January 1, 2026:

To receive the current incentives, projects must be installed and completed no later than December 31, 2025, and applications must be submitted to Energy Trust within 90 days of installation.
