Tips for submitting applications

As fall arrives and application submissions increase, Energy Trust relies on trade ally contractors to help ensure submitted applications are complete so that processing goes smoothly and payments can be issued in a timely manner.

Avoid common mistakes so that you and your customers receive prompt incentive payments. When you submit an application, make sure it includes:

  • Signature(s)
  • All pages of a scanned or faxed document
  • Complete and correct utility information
  • An itemized, paid invoice
  • Product model number that matches the specification sheet submitted
  • Participant’s W-9
