Energy Trust trade allies can receive a $125 discount off registration for the Sustainable Homes Professional course starting this October in Portland.
Sustainable Homes Professional is a comprehensive, interactive education program for residential and multifamily building and design professionals looking to take their work to the next level of quality. Course instructor Stephen Aiguier, Green Hammer, will guide participants through high-performance building best practices and share practical information, including:
- Building science fundamentals and moisture management
- High-performance wall and roof assemblies
- HVAC product selection and integrated system design
- Water conservation techniques
- Indoor air quality, green material considerations and health impacts
- Local green and energy-efficiency building programs and incentives
There are six course modules that can be taken individually, starting in October 2016 and ending April 2017. Participants that complete all six modules can earn the designation of an accredited Sustainable Homes Professional.
