Authorized by the 1980 Northwest Power Act, the Northwest Power and Conservation Council develops a plan, updated every five years, to ensure the region’s power supply and acquire cost-effective energy efficiency. Energy savings achieved through Energy Trust’s work contribute to the council’s goals of acquiring cost-effective energy efficiency. The council is currently sharing information and seeking public input on the Seventh Power Plan.
Attend one of two upcoming webinars to learn more about the Northwest Power and Conservation Council’s Seventh Power Plan. The webinars help provide context and give Power Committee members opportunities to discuss portions of specific chapters under development.
