Energy Trust’s Existing Buildings program made exciting changes to steam trap offers in 2023, with increased incentives for repairing and replacing steam traps.
Current steam trap incentives are:
Existing Buildings
- Stream trap replacement – $500 each
- Steam trap repair – $400 each
Existing Multifamily
- Steam trap repair or replacement – $350 each
Energy Trust helped 16 customers repair or replace 207 steam traps in 2023. These efforts will prevent nearly 1,200 tons of carbon emissions annually, equivalent to taking 240 cars off the road for a year.
