Residential SW Washington

Important updates to help you get efficient water heaters for your customers

Energy Trust is working with select suppliers to increase the availability of energy-efficient water heaters and make them more affordable. The distributors listed below are currently offering product discounts and other dealer benefits for qualifying electric and gas units installed in Oregon and qualifying gas units installed in SW Washington.

Contact one of the following distributors to receive these great benefits without any need for additional paperwork. If your distributor is not listed, ask about their plans to work with Energy Trust to provide discounts.

  • Ferguson
  • General Pacific
  • George Morlan
  • Keller Supply
  • NW Natural Appliance Center
  • Standard Supply

If you purchase a qualifying water heater from a distributor not listed above and install it on or before September 5, 2017, your customer is still eligible for an Energy Trust cash incentive through the current incentive application process.

After September 5, 2017, water heater incentives will only be available as discounts from participating distributors, so talk with your distributor about any discounts they provide on efficient units. We encourage you to pass the savings through to your customers—no application paperwork is required.

Energy Trust’s Savings Within Reach incentive of $600 on Tier 3 heat pump water heaters will not be affected by this change. To take advantage of the Savings Within Reach increased incentive, follow the current process and submit a Savings Within Reach incentive application.

If you have questions about water heater incentives, contact your account manager or the Existing Homes program.
