From October 26 to November 9, 2016, we will invite your feedback on the draft Energy Trust of Oregon 2017 annual budget and 2017-2018 action plan. The budget will guide program and outreach strategies that help contractors, allies and customers complete projects that save energy and generate renewable power.

Energy Trust will present an overview of the draft budget and allow for discussion and questions during a live webinar on Friday, November 4. Check Insider soon for more information and a registration link. We will also present the draft budget to our affiliated utilities, Conservation Advisory Council, Renewable Energy Advisory Council, board of directors and the Oregon Public Utility Commission in November. The board of directors will review a final, proposed budget and action plan before it is submitted to the Oregon Public Utility Commission.

The budget and action plan are developed collaboratively with Portland General Electric, Pacific Power, NW Natural, Cascade Natural Gas and Avista to deliver least-cost energy efficiency as part of their long-term resource plans. In addition, the budget supports development of small-scale generation from a variety of renewable energy resources for PGE and Pacific Power territories. Projects and actions resulting from our plans will save money on participant utility bills, reduce carbon emissions and improve local economies.
