Savings Within Reach income requirements are expanding

The Savings Within Reach track provides enhanced assistance for customers with moderate household income levels as defined by Oregon revised statutes. Beginning September 1, customers with an income between 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines and 120 percent of Oregon median income levels will be eligible to receive Savings Within Reach incentives.

To receive incentives after September 1, complete the updated income verification form, 310MIT, prior to work beginning and submit with the incentive application, 321MIT. All updates and requirements are also applicable to the Savings Within Reach On-Bill Repayment form, 321MIT, for eligible trade allies. Participating Savings Within Reach trade allies must submit forms on customers’ behalf. To obtain forms, email the Existing Homes trade ally team.

Income includes gross wages, tips, rental income, public assistance, social security or pensions, income from self-employment, alimony, interest or any other sources of income defined by the IRS income tax return. Approved Savings Within Reach trade ally contractors will receive the revised income verification form and incentive application form by email.

To learn how you can become eligible to offer Savings Within Reach incentives, attend an informational webinar on September 15 at 9 a.m. Register for the Savings Within Reach webinar here.
