January Trade Ally Forums keep trade allies informed

Marshall at Portland ForumEnergy Trust’s January Trade Ally Forums held in Portland, Medford and Bend drew record attendance. The forums were geared toward residential and Solar trade allies and included a presentation from Energy Trust executive director, Margie Harris, about preliminary 2015 results, plans for 2016 and how plans will impact trade ally businesses. Breakout sessions provided a comprehensive look at 2016 incentive changes by residential program. As always, the forums offered opportunities for trade ally input, visits with vendors and networking with staff and others in the industry.

The Trade Ally Forums, formerly known as roundtables, were reformatted in 2015 based on trade ally and staff feedback received over several years. The goal is to provide helpful, relevant information trade allies can use to improve their businesses and help customers save energy. The forums are held twice yearly in Portland, Medford and Bend, with additional events scheduled in other areas throughout the year.

Presentations from the January Trade Ally Forums are posted on Energy Trust’s trade ally pages. You can view the meeting description and download the presentations here. You can also find out more about similar meetings and training by visiting Energy Trust’s Trade Ally Training & Education Calendar.

Although the January trade ally forums were intended for the residential trade ally audience, commercial and industrial trade allies will have a similar opportunity for training and updates at the upcoming Winter Trade Ally Events starting on March 1 in Portland. More information about the Winter Trade Ally Events is available on the Trade Ally Training & Education Calendar. Click here to view the event announcement in Insider.
