Residential SW Washington

Residential program and contact changes effective January 24, 2018

On January 24, the residential sector completed its transition to consolidate Energy Trust’s three residential programs into a single, streamlined program. As a current trade ally, your status is not affected by this transition and you are not required to re-enroll. However, updated forms and applications were published on January 24, so we ask that you replace any previous incentive applications and other materials with these new resources.

The residential sector is no longer comprised of the Existing Homes, New Homes and Products programs. Instead, the residential sector is now comprised of these offers:

  • Home Retrofit (formerly the Existing Homes program)
  • EPS New Construction (formerly the New Homes program)
  • Retail (formerly the Products program)
  • New Manufactured Homes (no change)

The program consolidation does not substantively alter the terms and conditions of the trade ally agreement and program-specific addendums. Only program names have changed. In other words, wherever your agreement shows “Existing Homes,” you should now read it as “Home Retrofit;” wherever your agreement shows “New Homes,” you should now read it as “EPS New Construction;” wherever your agreement shows “Products,” you should now read it as “Retail.” There is no change to “New Manufactured Homes.”

The residential sector has adjusted its staffing and delivery approach to help improve the customer experience, simplify offers and provide better support to trade allies. Many of our existing offers remain unchanged. In case you missed the 2018 incentive changes, you can view them for EPS New Construction and Home Retrofit.

Because of the transition, your key contacts and/or email addresses may have changed. The chart below shows the previous email addresses, along with the new emails that will replace them. All emails sent to the old addresses will be automatically forwarded and Energy Trust asks that you send future inquiries to the new addresses. Phone numbers remain the same, but please note that when calling in, dialing options have changed. Please listen to the new menu to find your updated option number. All faxes should still be sent to 1.866.516.7592.
