In an effort to increase incentive eligibility, Energy Trust has revised replacement requirements for heat pump water heaters. Effective immediately, a tier 3 or higher heat pump water heater listed on our qualified product list can replace an existing water heater of any type and qualify for a $270 Energy Trust Savings Within Reach or single-family rental property instant incentive.

Previously, units had to replace electric tank water heaters to qualify. All other Residential program requirements remain unchanged.
