Energy Trust now offers incentives for energy-efficient inverter duty welders. Inverted duty welders can typically be found in auto repair facilities and technical college training programs.

Energy Trust offers an incentive of $1,200 each for welders that are either a retrofit or end of life replacement, are used for 2,000 hours or more per year and are rated at 250 amps or more with a 40 percent duty cycle.
