Existing Multifamily

New net-zero research and VHE DOAS training now available on-demand

Energy Trust offers free on-demand training on cutting-edge research by our Net Zero Fellow, Jessy Ledesma, as well as very high-efficiency dedicated outdoor air systems (VHE DOAS). These recorded sessions are designed to make training available whenever and wherever it’s convenient for you.

A Prototype for Affordable, Resilient, Low-Energy Cottage Cluster Housing

Learn how Net Zero Fellow, Jessy Ledesma, and her team studied the potential to move toward net-zero affordable housing by clustering units, centralizing mechanical and hot water systems, and optimizing multifamily development scale for solar microgrids. Partners included two housing developers, HomeWork Development and Wild Hair Development, along with the University of Oregon Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory. Training is eligible for 1 AIA LU or 1 CCB CEU.

Getting the Most Out of DOAS: Energy Modeling Guidelines for Configuration and Verification

Learn how very high-efficiency dedicated outdoor air systems (VHE DOAS) provide an optimized, high-performance approach to HVAC that significantly reduces energy use by combining high-efficiency equipment with design best practices. This training summarizes key recommendations from a recently published VHE DOAS energy modeling guidelines report from BetterBricks delivered by NEEA. Training is eligible for 1 AIA LU CEU.
