Jessica Reeves is a second-generation contractor and owner of Win-R Insulation in Southern Oregon, a WBE-certified business. Her company has been a local institution in the Klamath Falls community since 1980 and a trade ally of Energy Trust of Oregon for five years. Win-R specializes in windows, doors, and insulation for residential and small, commercial businesses in Klamath Falls and the surrounding area.
When Jessica initially talks with her customers about their projects, she always tells them about potential incentives from Energy Trust. For customers who qualify, she loves to include the estimated Energy Trust incentive on their bid so that they can see how much they’ll save by taking advantage of available incentives.
Customers are looking for ways to stretch every dollar, and the estimated incentives often help Jessica’s customers make decisions that can lower their operating costs and save money for years to come. The current insulation bonuses are available to commercial customers and help make energy-efficiency upgrades even more affordable, saving money and energy while providing a faster return on investment.
“The Existing Buildings program has helped me navigate the different incentives available, and also helped my customers with the paperwork so they could get their incentives on time,” says Jessica. “Being a woman in this industry is challenging, and people often don’t take you seriously, but I enjoy doing good work for my customers and saving them energy and money.”
