As of July 1, 2015, Energy Trust increased the gas furnace incentive from $150 to $300 and began offering a new $50 per unit sales performance incentive fund, SPIF, to trade allies for furnaces installed in NW Natural and Cascade Natural Gas customer residences. To qualify, the gas furnace must have a 90 percent annual fuel utilization efficiency, AFUE, or greater and be used as the primary heat source.
