Customers have a new tool to help them select highly trained and qualified lighting trade allies. The list of individuals and companies who have completed NXT Level training is now available online.
NXT Level is the most comprehensive lighting training in the Northwest for lighting contractors, designers, installers and others working on commercial or industrial retrofits. This free training is designed to help trade allies excel in the rapidly evolving lighting market, and covers the latest techniques and technologies, enabling trade allies to design, sell and install more advanced lighting retrofits.
NXT Level designation can benefit trade allies, including:
- Differentiation from competitors
- Being listed on the regional NXT Level Designation List
- Staying up-to-date in the ever-changing lighting industry
- Helping utility programs around the region meet their energy savings goals
To become listed, companies complete an application process, providing references, a history of projects and proof of good standing with their utility. Individuals also complete an application process and either provide proof of holding select lighting certifications or complete NXT Level training and pass the associated course exams.
Some industry experience is required to participate. Upon completion, trade allies may be eligible to receive NXT Level designation, which helps distinguish them from competition and identifies them as industry leaders to utilities and customers.
