What is a post-installation verification and how to participate


Man in yellow hard hat in a boiler room kneeling down to look at some equipment.Energy Trust conducts post-installation verifications for some projects to confirm that customers are satisfied with the equipment and services they have received and ensure that the energy savings reported are accurate.

If your customer’s project is selected for verification, an Energy Trust representative will conduct a brief site visit to confirm that installed equipment qualifies for the requested incentive, that equipment is installed to the manufacturer’s specifications and that it corresponds to the equipment listed on the incentive application.

This post-installation verification will be conducted only on the equipment listed in the incentive application. When a post-installation verification is required, applications will not be processed until satisfactory completion of the verification.
