This training will focus on the MS Check test procedure for mini-split heat pump systems, which was developed over 4 years of laboratory and field testing in the Northeast. HVAC technicians can confirm (or correct) system performance by taking 5 measurements over 15 minutes, all at the outdoor unit. Since its launch in 2018, more than 3000 MS Check tests have been recorded for the Rhode Island Energy program. This training is ideal for anyone that installs or supports the installation of DHPs.
